Ashok Mani
“Perseverance is the hard work you do, after being tired of the hard work you have already done.”
These are the words to live by for Ashok Mani, one of the 3rd generation leaders of the Synthite family. After completing his school education from Bhavans, Girinagar, Ashok went on to attain a specialization in Finance & Economics from Southern Methodist University, UK (Cox School of Business). Ever since, Ashok has been spearheading the Synthite family in various capacities. As an intern in his first year to driving domestic sales in Delhi and later, taking up the mantle of strategic growth at the corporate level, to most recently as MD & CEO of Synthite’s FMCG arm (Intergrow Brands) his professional trajectory has been nothing but prodigious.
With a business acumen of over 12 years, Ashok now leads Intergrow, a brand under the Synthite umbrella with sub-brands – Kitchen Treasures, Sprig and Paul & Mike. His mastery in Financial Control, Marketing and Personal Management, has helped Intergrow chart a path of growth and rigorous improvisation. With fierce competition on the block, it was his sheer determination and ingenious brand positioning strategy that has helped Kitchen Treasures snatch the title of 2nd biggest player in Kerala’s branded spice industry. Uncompromised purity, quality and goodness are the foundational pillars upon which Kitchen Treasures was built. It is also the reason behind the staunch support it receives from millions of Malayalee households. Clocking over 250+ crores in revenue in just under 9 years, Kitchen Treasures has achieved this feat faster than any other masala company in India.
His keen interest in basketball and cricket are tied way back to his school days. Mr. Ashok also has to his credit, the title of being the All India Topper in Accounting in the CBSE exam of the 2005 batch.
